Assistant Leaders and Helpers

Although we are fortunate to have sufficient leaders and helpers in our sections, we are always grateful to receive more help. If you would like to help out on a formal or informal basis, please send us an email by clicking here.

Executive Committee Members

Our Executive Committee is well established, but we're always grateful to receive more help. If you would like to help the Group on an informal basis, please please send us an email by clicking here.

Me, volunteer? There's nothing I can do!

Oh yes there is! We need Architects, Builders, Carpenters, Designers, Electricians, Fencers, Gardeners, Handymen (and women!), Interior Designers, Joiners - in fact everything from A to Z. We have a Headquarters and Grounds that we need to maintain, and an ambitious expansion programme that we need to complete in order to keep offering Scouting to the young people of Gosport. If you have a skill we will need it, and if you can offer us a few hours a year that will be great. Please send an email to the Chair of our Executive Committee, and we'll get back to you.

Fund Raising volunteers

We always need to raise funds, and we have a plan which includes attending the HMS Sultan Summer Show, various summer fairs (July looks particularly busy), the Stubbington Show and the Alverstoke Michaelmas Fair. We desperately need adult volunteers to help man the fundraising stall at these events - literally without fundraising there will be no Group. If you can help us for a few hours please send an email to the Chair of our Executive Committee.
